Is this a good OC?

xp2100 thoroughbred @ 2.1ghz
5900 non ultra @ 5900 ultra

The multiplyer is at 14 and the FSB is at 150mhz.

I am using kingston pc2700 value ram, but it does not want to run at 166mhz no matter how hard i try to get it to run. I've used defualt voltage, 2.6v, and 2.7v, but everytime i get to the desktop it restarts. I think this is probably why its called the cheap value ram.

For my video card, i can't seem to get it to be stable at 5950 ultra speeds. I've seen a lot of people with my card get it past 5950 ultra speeds, but when I run it at those speeds i get artifacts, and games tend to stutter and i get lower 3dmark scores. It seems to run slower if I go above 5900 ultra speeds.

3dmark2k1: 13419

I was wondering if this is a good OC? And if this is a good score for it as well.

I will get 3dmark2k3 scores as soon as I install my new hard drive(Don't have any space left to install 2k3, lol)

Try changing the RAM to another slot. OCing that XP2100+ to 2.1GHz is a nice OC!

Yeah i thought it was a nice OC too. Tomorrow I will move the ram over a slot and see if that does anything(If i can fit it with my big honkin 5900, geeze that thing is long)

Full load temps for the cpu before OC was 40°C and after is 43-44°C. Not to bad of a rise in temp for that high of an OC. It beats my friend XP2600 and 5900 in 3dmark scores.

Rather than trying to increase the DDR voltage, relax the memory timings and latencies

I've done that, i've set them back to defualt settings and the ram still doesn't want to run at defualt speeds.

Might be a bad stick... have u ran memtest86 on it? It should also be possible though to set the timings slower than default.

I have run memtest and nothing came up. I will set the cas from 2.5 to 3 tomorrow and see if that helps.
