Kids Any Ham radio operators out there?

My first licence will be expirering soon, and I do not know where to go to get it renewed. Anybody know?

The second link that Bovon posted makes it very easy. Just plug in your callsign and click continue. A VEC fee may or may not apply, based on which system you are grandfathered in.

"73" is used by ham radio OP's as a greeting and saying 'have a nice day' etc. 88's is love and kisses and used where a YL (Young Lady) ham is being referred to.

These terms are a carry over from when Amateur Radio was all CW (Continuous Wave...i.e., Morse code.) and every word was abreviated..and many 'made up' words to keep the code to a minimum.
