Kids check

Did you check and see that the proper files are on the diskette or if the files are in a folder on the diskette that you have to point to?

Try another floppy? Maybe the one you're currently using is defective.

Remember that the files on the disk must be on the root disk (PROBABLY) and not INSIDE a folder. So for example:

you can't have:

a:\Folder\driver1.dll
etc.

you should have:

a:\driver1.dll

That's just a lucky guess.

well the files on the floppy were right, and when i get to formattin through windows installation after it reaches 100 % it says after thata the disk may be damage then givese an explanation on some scsi things (make sure cords are right) anywayz I put the hd in my bros comp and he formatted it through there using disk management (through windows) went smooth and it worked through there, for some reason the windows installation was being a pain in the a$$ to me, after i put the hd back and my comp and all get the the part of the setup where it creates a list of files to be copied, and examines the hd, after that when its copying files it just stops at 2%, it won't go past there, I'm thinking that my Xp disk is bad or has a corrupted file

This sucks so much, hopefully I find a solution and the HD definantly isn't bad, it was the floppy (must of been dirty) worked in bros comp but anywayz
