hello everyone i have a ? is there a way to copy the ms hotfixes to a cd burner and have them load automaticaly to a new system just finished building a p4 2.6
intel 865perlk
antec slk3700 case
corsair p3200x512
lite on dvdrw
radeon9600 xp pro if so how do i go about it

I think MS has a download for the Service Pack 1 but about the other fixes and patches, I'm not really sure! (I never download them! :P)

I am sure there is...cuz people mention having them on a local server I think.

One thing I would do at the very least...I would download the blaster patch...and on a new install I would definitely run the blaster patch BEFORE I even exposed the comp to the internet....lots of people get blasted on their first internet visit on the way to the update sight! lol

Use that to seach for hotfixes for any MS OS. Then download them to a CD and install in order.

This may be handy too: Qchain, will let you install multiple hotfixes with only one reboot. http://support.microsoft.com/default...;en-us;Q296861
