iis trouble (w/asp)

Hey Guys,

I know alot of people have been having the same issue. I was running IIS fine then all of a sudden my asp stopped working.(it worked fine before this happend) I am on a winXP running IIS 5.X ...if anyone knows a solution please let me know. Thanx for your help guys.

What did you change?

Did you add new patches from Microsoft? Install any new software?

The one time this happened to me (Win 2000 Advanced Server), it turned out that the vb scripting engine had been corrupted somehow. I could serve up HTML pages through IIS okay, but nothing that used VBScript (ASP, for example).

Once we reinstalled the VB Scripting engine on the machine, all was well again.

It's worth a try....
