What's the best (P2P)

What do you all use for filesharing, and what do you think is the best software for doing so under Linux?

I've set up a couple good ol' home users with Linux, however, someone has a teenager that just desperately needs kazaa. Any suggestions on something easy to use (with a good user base on its network) they could try?

Sam

I use both giFT and mldonkey. They both connect to the kazaa network.

If footage or such mpeg stuff, id go for kazaa. Is there any other P2P that works even better than Kazaa for downloading *.mpeg's?

I use KaZaA Lite for music, and other small or easy to find things. eMule for larger and harder to find things. All legal of course.

Not sure if you can find anything like eMule on Linux though.

Hey, thanks for all the replies, I got giFT working... finally.

It was a real pain, but giFT with the gnutella, OpenFT, and FastTrack plugins (and using the giFToxic GUI) are one slick way to search. You can do all three at once if you want. Very slick, and not to shabby looking a GUI either.

giFToxic in action on the three networks above:
