You'll want to bypass the WAN port on the router/AP alltogether. the only thing you'll be using that for is the AP and a switch. Login to the routers admin interface and disable the DHCP server. Windows ICS on the host machine will handle those duties. Post back with more information. Like, what IP do the clients have? How do you have the wiring setup from host machien to router, etc.. Sounds like you've just configured it poorly.

OK....

I had installed ICS, had logged in with the workgroup login. The ic card in the win98 machine is plugged into jack 1 on the wireless hub. But I never could ping the router. I tried changing the ip on nic to 192.168.0.1....2...and also tried 5. Never would connect. I had configured the router with another computer at work(the laptop xp machine was an xmas present). I'm wondering if that screwed something up.....Anyway, I uninstalled the ICS on the win98 - then I could access internet on that machine now. I'm going to make sure I can ping the router before I do anything else...
