Kids Multihomed Routers

I am looking to setup 2 routers in my network, but I am having trouble with how I am going to do this. As one router serves as a portal to another Network in a different city (basically our highway to our software database), the other serves as our high speed internet access. I am not sure how I can set them up to where each computer can do both without installing 2 network cards into each machine. Is there anyone out there who can offer an help to my problem? Thanks

Plug them both into the network as normal. Make sure they have different IP addresses.

Then, In the one going to the internet, you will need to put a static route in for your other network, to use the 2nd router. Then when your clients go there to leave your network, it will redirect them to the other router if needed.

Indeed. Static routing should do the trick. I'm not sure what brand/model router you have, but here are some Linksys instructions for static routing (bottom).
