Who makes good wireless LAN equipment?

I was looking at the Linksys 802.11G (something like that) router, but i was wondering if there are any better alternatives? Is it better to buy the same brand of wireless network cards? Either way.. would you guys suggest PCI or USB network cards?

PCI over USB any day for networking. Why not USB? mouse, keyboard, etc. etc. etc. For serious networking keep things dedicated to the task. Stability and consistantcey will be the payoff. Also easier to add/extend network and components

the standard 3 names for home/small office type networks are

Dlink
Netgear
Linksys

I have also heard that for wireless cards lots of people think "orinco" are the best cards.

usb should be a last choice usually..because it just adds another level of compexity that can go wrong.

You dont have to have the same brand cards and routers etc...you do need the same, err, "standard"...in other words if you get a "G" router then obviously you need a "G" card if you want "G" speeds. If you mix and match that you only get the lower standard...for example if you have a "G" router and a "B" card, you only get "B" speeds.
