Well for games it's generally 512mb is the sweet spot, unless you have lots of memory used elsewhere like wasted in uneeded services and taskbar icons of open programs.
You wouldn't see much improvement unless you use more than 200mb just idling, in which case it might be a good idea to disable automatic updates, windows time sync, and any other uneeded services.
Also the taskbar icons that you dont need while playing games should be closed if they dont serve any purpose.
