Just wondering...

Just got a couple simple questions...

On my wife's computer, she has a liquid cooling system, that up to this point in the game, I haven't put anything but water in it. It has a pump that's submerged in the water, but I have a question about coolant. I've always thought that a little bit of coolant in the system, would help the temperatures out. (The temps aren't a problem at all) -But every little bit helps, right? If I use an automotive coolant, extremely diluted with water or something like that, would I have to worry about the pump getting clogged? And would it even help in the slightest? -What do you guys to with water-cooling systems?

Second Question is just kinda' me doing a little bit of wondering. I used to own a Sound Blaster Awe32, then upgraded to an Awe64. Since that time, got rid of that comp... And haven't really cared about sound-hardware up to this point. But I kinda' got interested again, and started looking at the SB Audigy... But it states that it's 24 bit audio. I thought i was to believe that the Awe64 was 64 bits, and the Awe32 was 32 bits respectively. -Just like the SB16 was 16 bits. Did sound-technology take a step backwards in processing bits? -Or am I just crazy.

As i have always understood auto coolant and I could be wrong is that what it does is raise the boiling point of the water preventing boil-overs and lowers the freezing point preventing .... well you know. It doesn't actually "cool" anything per se.

While it won't clog your pump, it might "eat" the pump seals which would not be good.

As for your other question: You got me?

Pure distilled water is the best "Coolant" wise. You may need to add something to keep stuff from growing in it (algae and whatnot)that would lead to plugged pump, waterblock.

As for the AWE32-64,I believe the number refers to the number of channels/sounds that can be played at one time.

Correct.
The audigy is ok, I'd go for one of the Hercules cards though, they're cheaper and perform better. Creative have lost it. Unless you want the audiodrive, don't get an audigy.
If you're playing games, don't get an audigy.
I know piles of people are going to jump in and say they are great. the cards are ok, but the drivers are total crap. I don't think anyone can reasonably deny that.
The GameSurround cards sound very good, and perform well too.

buy yourself a ESS soundcard.. they've been great for me.. crystal clear sound.. put one in every pc i've ever owned. as for automotive coolant.. no it wont eat seals since the same rubber is used for automotive water/coolant pumps as the pumps that are used in liquid cooling for computers.. im too cheap to go out and buy a gallon of antifreeze so i fill my radiator up with water from the well.....but yet i spend money on this pc... anyway back to the subject.. dump what people need is something that can circulate and keep cold as good as liquid butane (flash froze my fingers a few times while filling cigarette lighters) they use some for strong automotive coolant in diesel engines that actually does cool down. but its expensive and i dont know if you could get it in your area its called Die-Cool
