Just outta curiosity, are you familiar with NewEgg.com?

Never heard of Tiny either...

What exactly are you trying to do with this computer? A build, or a modified version of what you already have?

You really need to give more info on what you have already. For example if your board is an AMD Athlon slot board it can't be upgraded. Does it have a slot or socket A [462] What speed cpu were you considering? In many cases you cannot upgrade a factory built machine because the board is already running at or near the max it is capable of running. More info please.

After running a search it seems that Tiny computers are sold in the UK. Is that where you are?

I used to be in the UK but I am in the US now. Well i went to newegg.com is that the best place? I'm looking to run a dedicated game server but also looking to be able to do image editing and what not! I will post pics of the mother board as im not sure what i have (im not a hardware man). Im looking for about 2.4 ghz and P4 i don't like AMD due to heat etc... I have a 150 dollar coupon for CircuitCity so I will do most of my shopping there. And in reply to RF once i have a case i will modify what i have. I dont have a case right now so im going to build.

Thanks for you help

Biostars are pretty good for this price range. See here for Intel, and here for AMD.

your in socal , go to the local frys and get a cpu mobo combo there . they are the CHEAPEST HANDS DOWN , IF you get there combos onsale . there regular prices aren't the cheapest .

try www.pricewatch.com . for the cheapest price . but becarefull . lots of times the cheapest ain't the best way to go because they have horrid service .

neweeg.com is a great place , www.excaliberpc.com is a good place also , not the cheapest but the service is great . www.svc.com is a great place for cables , adapters , fan . www.nexfan.com is also great for fans , alittle slow on shipping ( they use ups ground and are on the right coast so it takes aweek) but they have flat rate 6.99 shipping per order . so order big when you order from them . for cheap cases try www.amamax.com , make sure u look in the promo section also . sometimes they wull have a case SHIPPED for about 25$ with a power supply
