Anyone play Prince of Persia: Sands of Time?

Sweet game IMHO!

I'm at the end where you have to climb the huge tower from the outside...what a pain in the @ss! You can't use the sands of time to "undo" a death...have to start from the beginning back at the base of the tower. I'll beat it tonight most likely...

Anyone else playing? Awesome game...I highly recommend it!

It's a great freaking game from what I have read and from what little I saw. My frined and I played the game on a console for like about half an hour and it is pretty sweet. Graphics are very nice and the gameplay (you know , the controlling time thingie) is very very cool. GREAT return from the Prince.!

I've been playing this game for the last few nights, and I really like it. Excellent graphics, and some truly awesome jumping puzzles. The combat sequences are kinda hard to get used to, but I'm holding my own.

The only thing that bothers me about this game is the obvious Xboxifcation of the port. I like 3rd person games as much as the next guy, but the view during gameplay sure would be better if it stayed behind the character. The camera pans back to weird angles too much during critical areas of the game. Right now, I'm at that point where you push that box onto the first switch to open the door. Then you need to pull the lever to extend the bridge and run and jump across...

I've tried it many, many times, and just can't seem to get it right. Perhaps I should break down and finally buy a controller, but then again- maybe I should just buy an Xbox...

Microsoft and the Xbox can rot in heck for all I care, then maybe we'll get some good games for PC...

I seen my brother play a demo of it, i wasn't really impressed, but in a gaming magazine all the reviewers really, really liked it, so i will probably check it out sooner or later.

Good point! Better camera angles are a must...what bothers me is when you'll be holding the up arrow to run forward, then the camera angle changes to be in front of you...of course then holding the up arrow makes you run backward!

Also...to be honest, I found the game to be way too easy. I didn't get a chance to play last night, but I will definitely beat it tonight. I'll post up some screenshots later, I've been taking them all throughout the game.

Are you playing the PC version Martoch?
If so, what are your system specs and does it runs well?

Yep, PC version. Plays like a champ with everything set on high detail, 1152x864 resolution.

Athlon XP2000+ (stock speed)
1GB Mushkin PC2700 RAM
Albatron GF4 Ti4200P Turbo Edition (OC'd to 4600 levels)
etc...

Here's a screenie from the game...

Anything else you want to know?

My buddy tried to play it with a GF2 something or other and it wouldn't even let him run it, didn't meet minimum requirements.
