Dvd Rewriter for backing up ps2 games

hi, i got a ps2 4 xmas and have some money for a dvd writer and was wondering if anyone could guide me to a good dvdrw for this kind of use and what specs i need to be aiming for

Any DVD+RW 4x is fine, can usually find good deals for them for under 80$, can also get one that does both for not much more DVD-+RW 4x as well, anything faster than 4x isnt worth it because 8x media costs an arm and a leg.

What about dvd+r and Dvd-r is that at a 4x aswell or can it be lower speed?
