I got this graphic card while back spent a good 300 doll heirs on her and no i built a new computer and now I installed XP, i cant get the updated drivers from creative to install. It will always install the microsoft drivers. I got the original drivers disc but only supports 98 and 2000. I got an asus a7n8x. I tried everything under the moon notta thing. It simply wont take files from the my downloaded files from creative. I also followed the instructions to the T Need Help please wife wont let me spend another 2 bills on a 9600xt

You can always try the official drivers from the original chips maker for your GeForce2 GTS...

Is this card worth the effort i spent the money on it should i keep it. I mean will it work with the newer games coming out like need for speed underground and vice city or should i just upgrade to a 9600se

it will run NFS underground, but it will look BAD

With the newer games like NFS Underground, CoD, HL2 ... this DirectX7 32MB card will not perform very well, especially if you play at higher resolutions with good image quality ...


Of course the Radeon9600 will perform way better than the GF2 GTS in any game... i recommend getting the Pro version ...
