Systems My PC won't boot!

Around 2 weeks ago my PC died suddenly. It had worked the night before and the next day when I had tried to use it, it wouldn't turn on. So, over the last two weeks I have ordered several differant parts. Currently, I have a new mobo (pc chips m811), HDD (same maxtor brand, just bigger), Processor (Athlon), and a new power supply. I just got the new power supply today and I can now get the fan to spin, but nothing else happens. Neither HDD boot (one is clean, and one has stuff on it) and there are no beeps when I turn it on. It doesn't even seem like the HDD is doing anything. I don't get any picture either.

hmm....well, you need to try it with just the cpu/heatsink, video card, one stick of ram..nothing else...see if it boots from there.

If not, maybe try to reset the bios using the jumper.

edit - JP beat me to it

Connect only the PSU to the motherboard with the processor (and the whole h/s and fan thing) installed. Is the video card on-board? if no, take it out too, just leave the RAM and see if you get ANY beeps. You can also try to take all the RAM out (I think it also beeps when there's no RAM).

see the JP1, ( jumper 1) if JP1 is short 1-2 , ok, mobo boot.
if JP1 is short 2-3 , mobo no boot. (CMOS battery safe mode)
See User“s Manual page 12.
M811 is a very good motherboard, very faster whit Athlon XP.
