Hi Mamister,

Welcome to TechImo!

Whitch version are you using, the commands can differ depending on the version. Also will this be working with a windows OS(Explorer)?

Works fine on my winxp machine but not win98... any idea ?

Are you saying you want a command to make a directory who's name is the current date, what ever the date happens to be?

For example, if the command was run in a batch file tommorrow the directory would be
27-12-2003?

We need more information. Is this a one-off thing or something you want to script or what?

You also have to remember if you're using DOS and not a DOS prompt in Windows that DOS has a limit of 8 characters for directories as well as files.
