z-680 center channel delay

Hi, I recently switched my z-680s from analog to digital input (coax), and now my center channel (most of the voices for the dvds) seems to be missing. I am currently using direct dvd, this is a software decoder. When i turn of decoding in the program, i get my center channel back, however the voices are delayed from the video, why is this? is there something wrong with my hardware decoder?

nevermind, i figured it out. i just switched to windvd 5 and everything works fine
