Which XP home or PRO

Going to use the system at home for various things games, making videos, business, and internet.

Would I benefit from XP pro and is it compatible with gaming and all hardware

Why not? WinXP Pro works with the same things that Home. I haven't bumped into any hardware or games that haven't worked with XP.

Pro all the way. I plan on upgrading from Win2k Pro to XP Pro (this system hasn't had a clean install in almost 2 years!). There probably isnt a HUGE HUGE difference but its enough to make me go pro. I think some network settings and such are also disabled in XP Home but I could be mistaken. Haven't ventured into XP much yet
