alll games crash after a time

First Merry Christmas

right i got some new games 2day and some ram. hopeing the ram would fix my problem.

after about 1/2 hour of play of any game cs, bf, hitman 2 and nfsu the game just cuts off back to desktop. i thought it may be that i needed more ram 388mb now i have added a 512mb stick to that combo all pc2100. it still does it. temps are fine about 50C on processor on load and the system temp always is in the low 40s. i have a case fan. i have run adaware and avg they havent found anything.

sys specs

amd athlon xp2000 oced by 100mhz (1.75Ghz)
896mb pc2100 ddr
550w PSU
MSI K7T266 Pro2-A mobo
seagante 40gb hdd 7200rpm

and XP Pro

Send a message via ICQ to washe
have you tried witout overclocking?

Overclocking could be a posibility of making the system a bit unnestable.....

I would also suggest taking off the overclock on the cpu I had simialr problems and had to bump mine down and that seemed to fix it. Merry christmas
