skins for counterstrike...!

hey, i just needed to know where the weapon skins are that steam uses, so i can replace them

i know with cs 1.5 it was in the c-strike folder, but now when i replace the skins in the c-strike folder, they dont change the gun skins! where are the skins that steam uses kept?! and where are the screenshots saved to????
