Using "Udie editor" for Diablo 2 LOD 1.10?

Im having problem how to make a socketed weapon. When I set number of sockets on a weapon, let say 5, when I enter the game, it turn out 3 sockets instead. Why?

I have read the readme file, but i dont quite understand what it wants.

How do you actually use this editor? I only use it to make a socketed weapon for Runeword. I also dont know how do you use the Runeword tab. All i get is bad inventories.

Yet, i found out that it has got something to do with "unknown bits found".

My clearly question,

1. How do u make a socketed weapon and it worked correctly? How to make 4, 5, 6 socketed item?

2. How to use the Runeword tab? Coz I think I have prepared the correct item for the runeword.

Item editing in Udie Too is not very user friendly. The only thing I got working was the import export item stuff.

There isnt much that I could import items stuff

All i care is the socketed item. It worked to some. But most items you cannot add socket more than 3, i notice. Maybe a bug right?
It will always turned out 3 and 3 sockets again.

I'm so freaking up. Maybe I better find a stock of runeword items and drop (import) it in over my stash.

Got it! Surf there and look for the stuff. I have download the Rune Wizard and can't download Item Warehouse. Cannot find the page somehow

Squick-man we were talking about hacked items used offline. Udie Too is the only worth while character editor I found for Diablo. You can pick it up here:

Elmers, no problem now on socketed items. I get it all in a one zip file, UD. Hope i can paste it in here. You can double click on "Diablo 2 Character" format type and it'll eventually kick you into Jamella editor.

Look for the stuff you need. There are 2 till 6 sockets of ELITE items, for the sake of Runewords if you wanted to test them out. So copy and paste those characters available inside the UD zip file in Diablo 2 Save C: directory. Run the game, load the character and eventually convert them into 1.10 chars. Now run UDIE Too, load the character and save the items that it got in there. The rest, you know what you got to do.

Elmers, do you have a file that has all 1.10 ELITE items? I really want them because you know there are new ones. The UD zipfile that i talked about is 1.09 ELITE items, so it was a bit kind of outdated and the damage it does is not as high as the 1.10 ELITE items. For example, theres an axe called Berzerker Axe; damage mere 70+. Its an Elite item in 1.09 but as in 1.10 theres an item called Silver-Edge Axe; does mere 120 of damage, which is high for a one hand! There are some runewords that needs axe to get it working so at the moment, im using the old Bezerker axe, Femine runewords. The damage are okay, very satisfying but it would do a lot better if i could the Femine runewords on new ELITE axe available on this 1.10 patch.

UD Too, works as transfering items for me.
