are you talking about basic buying guide or just room placement for your speakers??

crutchfield has a basic guide http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/le...metheater.html

not the best but its easy to follow

Nah I mean like actual set up. Where you put the wires, what connectors goes where, etc etc.

ahh ok well that would be more componenet specific and I dunno of any sites right of the top of my head that would provide that. I know there are a few good forums or even a few members here that are pretty good on that if you ahven't got the answer after x-mas give this thread a bump and you should find some help

All of the info you need should be on the page and the links on that page that RicheemxX gave. Browse through those pages and you should find what you need.
All of the components will be labeled so that connecting everything is going to be pretty easy if you read the user guides that come with your equipment. Make sure you read your user guides!

If you need more help, ask away! I will give what help I can!

well it should be a basic setup left channel is all the left and right is right....your main{bigger sleakers} should be the front {left and right} the wire with the white on the side is the red one on the speaker and on the amp center speaker is the on that is should be on top of TV or uder it and surround goes in the back on either side...subwoofer should be somewhere i the middle of the room {coffe table is nice} but anywhere close to the listener is good

I got the speakers to work I think. Pressed "Test" and the speakers seem to work. But I just don't know how to conntect the Amp to the TV. I got 6 connectors. One RWY, S-Video, and one RW
