DESPERATELY NEED HELP GA-7N400 Pro2 Isthis a f#$*ed motherboard

Hey guys, I have troubleshoot and built countless computers so far, but this one I can't fix it.

alright, here is the situation

My friend just got a Gigabyte Ga-7N400 Pro2 motherboard along with an Antec 550 TruePower Power supply from Newegg. And this is where the problem starts.

After he set everything up, the motherboard was running great, and when he's about to install OS, the installation gave him an error, so he restarted as the program stated, but upon rebooting, he is not seeing any video anymore. (He tried this part in his house first, so I don't know what the error message says exactly, but I could ask if you guys think it might be important)

Anyway, so he called me, and I told him to bring the computer over, cause there's no such thing as unfixable error, or so I thought.

Anyway, next day when he brought it over, there's no video when we turned on the computer, there's beeping sound from PC speaker, so I went online and check out the beep code, here are it might sound like:

1)Repeating short beeps-- Power supply or system board problem

2)Continuous beep-- Power supply, system board, or keyboard problem

3)1 long, 1 short beep-- System board problem

so I booted the computer few more times, with different combinations of hardware, and still no luck,

Here's what I've tried:

Power Supply from Antec 550 TruePower to Enermax Whisper 365VE

Memory from (2x256mb) 512MB PC3500 Dual Channel DDR to Kingston HyperX PC3200 512MB

CPU from XP 2500+ Barton to XP 1900+ ThroughBred

Video Card from Tyan 9700 Pro to TNT2, Radeon 7200, Matrox G400, and other PCI cards

As for the hard drive and cd roms, I took all of them out, so simplify the complications. Since I got no luck at switching these parts, I am down to my last resort, I went to Fry's and got another 7N400 Pro2 with my finger crossed (but I guess I need more fingers to be crossed , because it failed to boot again ) yup, I have switch out the stuff I listed above back and forth, still no freaking luck, I am very frustrated.

The thing is that the Gigabyte mobo from Newegg, it will power on alright, but at some point, there's no more beep from PC speaker anymore, but there's still no video, the monitor will just go to standby mode. It's same thingy for Fry's Gigabyte mobo, but somehow it's starting to not able to keep the fans running, when I powerd on the mobo from Fry's it will power on for like 2 seconds, then shuts off by itself.

So any thought on what the problem might be??? because from all my previous experiences, I am out of solutions, I've checked all the connectors and connections are secure, but still no video.

HELP ME!!!!!! , I am tired of this s*^t, is it just that this Gigabyte 7N400 Pro2 is piece of crap?? Did any of you 7N400 Pro2 run into this kind of problem?? if you do how did you solve it???

PLEASE PLEASE DESPERATELY NEED HELP!!!!!

well, the motherboard is outside, I took it outside of the case already, sorry I forgot to mention that, as for the bios, don't I just disconnect the power and took out the battery, let it sit for a while then put the battery back it?? yeah I tried that couple times with no luck

I pulled the mobo out of the case and tried all those stuff with still no luck, resetting doesn't help either.

However, my brother removed everything, I mean everything, he only connects the power to the mobo, and there's still no beep, so you all think it might be another bad motherboard???

Because I just saw that if there's no beep from PC speaker, then it's

No beep -- Power supply or system board problem

what do you all think it is?

i ve got the non pro version. but it does have a jumper to reset the cmos.

on an epox board i had,i couldnt get the cmos to clear. found out that i still had power to the moniter, which was plugged in,of ocurse,to the vid card. had to kill the juice to the moniter before it would clear the cmos with the jumper.
