need MSword in computor

My dads computor does not have spell check in outlook because word is not in there. I have word so can I take the cd and just install word. Both computors are Dell.

you cant ust the dell restore cd or whatever but if you have the office cd you need another lisence to legally install it and if its a newer version you probally need to activate it online

i suggest http://www.openoffice.org/ it is just as good as ms office and compatible with it and completley free but with dial up its a fairly large download
