please check your printer configuration?

hey all, i renetworked win98 and winxp, all is working fine, except (why is there always an except?) from my xp machine when i try to print to the printer connected to the 98 comp it trys to go through then says unable to start up printer plase check printer configuration. I have the correct driver, and i can see the printer, so does anyone know what my prob is? any help is appreciated...

isnt it something like you have to have the driver on the xp machine also? But dont ask me how, lol.

yes the printer has to be installed to both systems
on the xp system it will be selected to use a shared printer on the lan

Add the printer to the XP machine and during the setup browse to the shared printer, select the proper drivers and it should install the drivers on teh XP machine. Make sure that the printer is shared.
