OSA9.EXE and D3D8.DLL missing
Recently as windows starts up ive been getting a message saying that windows is searching for the file OSA9.EXE. I have no idea what this file is or how it went missing, but when it cant find the file, it asks me if i want to point the shortcut to Excel, and I of course say no. I dont know if this file had anything to do with Excel or Office. Outside of this annoying message every time windows starts, I haven't noticed any problems. Also, I've recently downloaded some game demos (Battlefield 1942 and Unreal Tournament 2003) and when i run them, I get an error message saying that the required DLL file D3D8.DLL is missing. It seems to me that both of these errors began occuring at about the same time. I've restored the oldest registry backup windows has saved (from 5 days ago) but to no avail. I'm also running win98.
