Wireless internet

I have dsl and i would like to connect my laptop to my dsl line wirelessly. Someone told me I have to get a router and plug it into the dsl modem. Is that how im suppose to do it? If not then how am I suppose to do it?

Well that would be as easy as anything else.

Get a "wireless" router. That means a router with a wireless antenna plus it has regular wired ports for other comps.

Then you just get a wirless pc card for the laptop.

You plug from the dsl modem to the "wan" input of the router....then it goes from the antenna of the router to your pc card in the laptop....also you can use the regular wired ports with cat5 to other comps etc.
