HDD Acting weird installing Xp + Running.

On one of my main computers i tried installing Xp on a new HD i got and for some reason i had a hard time. I get a blue screen error. When i get it installed the OS works in the first time in XP. As soon as i restart the start menu + ctrl-alt-del does not work. I can change the screen size and the other stuff.
I try it on another computer it works. i bought two of those hDDs a none of them work. I have installed Xp on a different HDD before on that computer.
Can anybody help?
