How do your new benchmarks compare to your older ones?
(You must have run benches before this swap---right?)

Edit---> your old system exceeded all the minimum requirements to run those games by far---what did you expect?

just ran 3dmark 03 and i got a 5465 and with my old processor i got 4903 so i guess it helped me but games still run like crap and are barely playable when ur getting 20 fps and my friends got a 2.8 9200 and and nevedr gets below 40 with same settings so im downloading 3dmarl 03 on his computer and see if he gets 40,000

I'm running a P4 3.06 ghz 533FBS CPU. I use a Cooler Master fan/
heat sink combo. It's the twenty dollar one. Temps are consistently
38C- 45C depending on room temp. I'm told by a good source that you needn't worry until you hit 50C. My rig is a micro atx with raid 0. My next step is a new power supply with multiple fans.

perhaps your bios multipiers are off. I had this problem, my 8x agp was running at 2x and my cpu had a fsb of 133 instead of 800.

Also check your temperature throttle back control. I know that on P4 chips if it gets to hot it will throttle back in mhz to cool it off. I'm not saying your chip is too hot, but the setting for when it throttles back might be set to low in the bios.

EDIT: my asl grammer is messing up my english grammer >_<
