Systems How to setup users in XP?

I'm setting up an XP-Pro system for my inlaw. He wants 2 users in his computer: one for him one for my brother inlaw.

How can I have 2 separate accounts where each one of them can install the software they want and don't get in the way of the other person?

I already setup 2 "administrator" accounts, but whatever I install in his side shows up in the side of my bro. inlaw.....

Am I missing something?

How does that prevent programs that one person installs show up in the side of the other person?

If the issue is the installed apps showing in the start menu for both user accounts, you could modify the start menus for each individual account to include only the specific items you wish. Just a thought. If it is more a matter of preventing access to installed apps, then go with what capybara said. By setting the security on each application's installation folder, you can prevent users from using the app I believe.

Is not so much about preventing access.
Lets say one of the users installs ICQ, but my other user doesn't want the ICQ icon showing in his taskbar. Stuff like that....

to stop that you'd have to change the startup programs. if icq is in the all users startup folder in the start menu then move it to the startup folder of the person who wants it.

guess not, I can't find anything in gpedit.
I have noticed not all programs install in all users desktops.
I have had to add programs to my wifes desktop after installing a program under my name.
