Good mobo with Crap RAM

Nvidia has long ago released Linux drivers and has kept them updated too. Even the SATA raid is supported on my A7N8X deluxe mobo under linux.

Ah, well unfortunatley I couldn't get hold of a NForce2 board. I bought a Epox 8KRA2+, which has all the features I want, apart from dual-channel RAM. But then again, I only have one stick anyway. Its on a KT600 chipset, and reading some reviews on it, it seems like it can keep up with the NForce2 SPP. That really surprised me btw.
Now I'm just trying to find out what kernel modules I should use for the IDE, sound, LAN and AGP so I can compile it before I put it in.

KT600 was there second try but is pretty good from what I hear. THe kt400 was aimed to compete with nforce2 from what I remember and failed badly at it. Wasnt even true 400mhz support. Typical of via naming schemes. They are more like marketing catch phrases to confuse the consumer. I have a kt400 chipset, yes but you cant run 400mhz bus (200mhz fsb double pumped)! Why? Errrr. Cause its via-LOL.
