How to get rid of dialler?

I downloaded what I thought was something to do with linux but ended up being a dialler type program. It created a folder in my program files directory called fastdownload and another called fastdownload 2. I had to end a process running called fastdownload .exe before I could delete these folders.
I also had a couple of shortcuts here and there to fastdownload and a dial up networking icon had been created also called fastdownload. I have deleted all of this and have run both Adaware and Spybot however they didn't pick up anything. I also ran a registry cleaner and deleted a string related to fastdownload also.
I want to be sure this program is gone but not sure what else to do. Any suggestions??
Should I run the Trend Micro online scanner, or is there another scanner that searches for dialllers like this? I thought that Spybot would have found something or perhaps I have removed it all okay so there was nothing to find.

Thanks.

Spybot can usually get rid of this problem, so if it did not find anything then you are probably okay. It certainly wouldn't hurt to run the trend micro scan though.

Already done that. Any other suggestions??? Could I assume that if Adaware and Spybot didnt pick up anything then I must have already removed everything manually when I deleted the folders etc?

Search for the file "5-2-46-112.exe" and remove it if present. It often accompies fastdownload. A reg scan for the same entry is also recommended.

Otherwise, if nothing else is found, then you have likely already manually removed the entirity of the spyware application.

I did a search and didnt find 5-2-46-112.exe.

I am using adaware 6 so I am now confident that I have removed the dialler.

Thanks for the help.
