A Funny email from my ISP

I got the funiest email last night! I have a Cable modem, and my email said that my ISP would UPGRADE my speed to SUPERFAST at no CHARGE! HOw you ask???? It said to unplug my modem, wait a minute then plug it back in and I would have superfast internet! LMAO. They actually sent this out to all its customers, sigh.

I'm guessing that you have Comcast. Right?

So did you stop laughing and reboot your modem? What do your speeds look like?

My speeds have always been ranging around 1.2-1.9 Mbps. I doubt that reseting my modem will increase it any more, and those speeds are actually GOOD for Comcast.

So all those other Comcast people that reset their modems and instantly doubled their speeds are just pretending?
