SCSI drives in the Device manager but not . .

SCSI drives are shown in the device manager but not shown in WinXP "My Computer". My boot drive(s) are a pair of WD Raptors in RAID0 and I added a SCSI card with two Seagate Cheetah 18.2GB drives. All I see in My Computer is Drive C and my other installed CD drives. No SCSI drives shown but yet they are in the device manager. Any ideas ? I have no clue as to whether these drives are "initialized" or not.

Have you made partitions and/or formatted? You need to do that before they show in My Computer.

Ok, I'll head to Seagate and where ever else I can find info. I tried the Seagate DiscWizard but all it does in WinXP is show the splash screen and go back to the WinXP desktop.

You. Need. To. Create. Partitions. On. The. Drives.

No funny stuff needed. Use XP's builtin Disk Manager.

Right Click My Computer > Manage > Disk Management.

Drives should be there.

Right Click Drive > Format.

Evilrick, peter and Bill have the right idea. You need to follow Bills instructions to make them useable.

Edit-spelling errors.
