Nice looking CPU HSF cooler ...

Fellow Members:

I have not used this particular product, though it was on my shopping list for my Asus & XP 3200 400 FSB combo. If the stock sink that I am going to try doesn't cut the mustard, then my next heat sink/fan assembly may be this:

Thermaltake Silent Boost For AMD XP up to 3400+ for approximately $21 at various sites. It is worth a look!

Has anyone tried this?

Brangwen

PostScript: Yes, the XP 3200 is an expensive chip . . . yes, I could have waited longer and paid a fraction. And finally, yes, how much am I truly gaining over on XP 2500 Barton? Frankly, I want to run at 400 Front Side Bus without overclocking. And this XP 3200 has a three-year warranty. At least I didn't fall for the AMD 64!

Missing Silent Boost link:

http://www.thermaltake.com/coolers/venus/rs/a1838.htm

Looks like they added a different fan to an already proven good heatsink---isnt that the same sink the Aeroflo comes mounted on?

if you're not overclocking then stock cooling better be adequate
