Opinions before I buy MB

Is this a good MB to go with?
I allready have 512mb pc2700 333 (2x256 sticks).
I ordered the amd 2500 last night.
I allready have a GeForce4 Ti 4200 graphics card.
I have a modem.
I don't want a MB with integrated graphics, but sound is ok.

That motherboard will be a great match for your components. The onboard sound is excellent to boot.

Yeah, just make sure you put the two sticks of RAM into the two blue slots for them on the MB. That way Dual-Channel memory transfers will be enabled. Great choice on the mobo though, I have one and those that have purchased an A7N8X model will back me up in saying that they're great!

actually i've heard that the -x version is really bad. good version is the deluxe.

there is nothing "bad" about it but its just a really stripped down version with just the basic features and no dual channel ram support. but that doesn't matter if u don't care aboutr the features and dual channel doesn't really offer that much of a preformence increase from what ive head.

yes so what davidamarkley said about dual channel is not usuable on that board.
