Best Progrram to make my own DVD????

Guys, I need help on what programs to use for my DVD??

I want to make a DVD for my last summer vacation, to be honest, this is first time for me to me the DVD , I am a complete noob at this but hey I am here to learn.

From the reseaches that I've done, it seems like there's no one good program that does it all yet, so I am looking for the softwares that handle these parts the best....

What programs would you guys and girls recommend that I use to make my home DVD???

1) I want to edit a little with the files that I've captured file through Adobe Premier 6.5, probably with sounds mainly, I would like overlay a sound or two, something like that

2) and also I would like a program to make a motion menu (don't want it to be too cheesy, as long as there's a menu with sound and motion menu (i.e. little preview clip playing in the icon thingy) then I am happy)

3) and finally, what would be a good program to re-encode my files into dvd format, so I can use what program to burn it into dvd????

P.S The money is not an issue for the software, just let me know what's best and not too hard to learn, (i.e. I don't want to use something like Sonic Scenarist?? I believe that's what it's called, I think that is overkill)

Anyway, any inputs are welcome, this is going to be my winter break project

I've used Roxio DVD Builder, Adobe EncoreDVD, and NeoDVD. They all will convert and capture video (but encore is very picky). I like NeoDVD as the best all around prog and Encore was most powerful (but definitely not the simplest).

Roxio's comes with the new EasyCD 6

Pinnacle Studio 8 is a pretty decent all around program for what you are wanting to do. It is really easy to use and provides some great customization features such as motion video menus and sound overlays.

interesting......

I nevered like the Pinnacle TV tuner, because the PCTV Pro that I've got from Compusa, well in my opinion is crap, cause it takes about 60% cpu usage when I am just watching the live TV, but that's beside the point.

As far as the software is concerned, I haven't tried Pinnacle's software yet, maybe I will try some

By the way, do you guys know if there's any guides on how should go about using the program?

Thanks
