what should my ram speed be?

in my system i have 512 mb of pc2700 DDR ram. i have a Gigabyte p4 titan 533fsb 845E GA-81EX series mobo. Yet my RAM speeds are only 166mhz? is this right? i just thought it should be higher, as when i do a benchmark on my ram it comes up well under the other systems running the same ram with smaller processors. does anyone know how to make my ram run faster?

Your ram is running at the correct speed, it is doubled and comes up to 333mhz memory.
If it were at 133 you would have 266, if you have 166 you have 333mhz memory.
You could always try over clocking your memory by setting up the memory frequency to try seeing what you can get out of it.
