Windows Explorer Crashing

Hello, I'm currently experiencing problems with Windows Explorer crashing. These crashes occur due to some video files.

1.) When I goto a directory in Windows Explorer that contains OGM (OGG Media) files, Explorer would suddenly crash and load up the "Send Error Report" thing. These video files however play fine.

2.) I have some other video files which are in AVI format. When I goto the directory with some particular AVI files, Explorer would crash like in situation 1. However this only occurs with particular AVI files, not all of them. When I try to play these particular files with Media Player Classic or RealOne, they crash these media players. However when I try to play these files with BS Player, they play fine.

So can anyone tell me how to stop Windows Explorer from crashing when I goto these directories? I'm running Windows XP Pro.

Thanks in advance.

Don't know what OS your in but you can try this , go to control panel /add remove programs/ select IE and hit the remove link which will give you 3 options, pick "repair"
