newer copies will have the service pack built in but not sure if you can just go buy a cd....microsoft sure could make alot selling the update on cd charging like $10 per disk(not lisence)
You can download the Service pack files from MS, and update them when ever you wish without downloaind the file over and over again.
You can also slipstream the SP1 into your instalation and make an image and use that to install XP when ever you need to.

Incorrect. That is what the network install is for. Think about places with 1000+ computers, you think they go do Windows Update on each one?
that was posted before he added the link even though i can't see what it is it sounds like he was talking about copying the windows directory to a cd and using dos or something to copy it to each pc's hdd
