Opening a port on a linksys befsr41 router

I've been having trouble playing games lately, and I was wondering if maybe I needed to configure the router a little. On the Linksys page, it says this:

Quote:
Games over the Router. If playing games like Quake or Battle.net, port 27960 must be opened in the router's advanced feature. Refer to the manual and the help button on the router on how to open ports.
Anyone know how you can do this? I can't figure out how to open a port, and I couldn't find it in the manual.

goto http://192.168.1.1/
it should prompt you for a username and pass
Leave username blank and put in whatever your pass is (admin by default).

Then goto the advanced tab --> forwarding
Put in the port number and check either TCP, udp, or both.

then u have to figure out which comp is yours for the IP
If you arent sure, hit the "setup" tab and then goto dhcp and then dchp client table
