CD-ROM Dilemma

Today, I ran into some CD-RW/DVD ROM Combos, especially several "things" that has 48-24-48-16 Speeds (CD-R, CD-RW, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM Read Speed Order). I currently have the following:

* Lite-On 48-12-48 CD-RW
* JTMS 16x DVD-ROM

I have to call one of my cousins because she needs to upgrade her system for a certain reason. Do you think I should go for a CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo? Or do you think I'm OK with the aforementioned? If I choose to get a CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo, do you think I still need a secondary CD/DVD Drive? Please help me out.

i would just stick with the two drives then you wont need another cd drive to copy cd's
you might think of getting a dvd burner and it would be pointless to get a new drive just to replace it in a couple months i have a deeling the dvd burner prices will be very low in a year or less
