Display Dilemma

I do gaming on my PC, and I was going to consider obtaining a Flatbed LCD Monitor because my KDS 17" Monitor produces excessive glare when it's too bright. Do you think I should get a Flatbed LCD Monitor, or do you think I would be safe to get a CRT Flatscreen Monitor? If you want me to get a Flatbed, what brand and size I should go for? If not, why should I stick with a CRT Monitor? If I want to upgrade my CRT Monitor, should I get a CRT Flatscreen?

you're also going to be able to get a larger crt for the price of a smaller lcd. theres also probably something you can get to reduce glare. i know 3M makes some.

personally, i love LCD's but if you're a gamer a CRT offers the best bang for the buck.

you can get LCD's that have minimal ghosting but they are still expensive in comparison. for CRT's, i always reccomend that people first try to find a local store to buy from. you save a bit in shipping costs and because CRTs are sensitive hardware, you'll have an easier time exhanging/returning it.

samsung & viewsonic are the two leaders in price performance and quality in this area...

You can get 2 or 3 used 21" trinitrons for the price of a good LCD.
I got the Sun in the first link, and it is just like new.
