How to attach leads to a lithium battery

I have a couple of laptops that need cmos batteries. The prices I saw are $10-20 for IBM 02K6502. The battery looks like a standard CR2025 battery with leads attached. If I buy batteries at the local store how should I attach the leads? I thought they would be soldered but looking at it they don't have any solder showing.

Suggestions appreciated. And thanks in advance.

the leads are uaslly welded to the batt during mfg,
I would not recommend yor trying to solder leads to them and the heat required to do that on such a small batt. could cause it to explode in your face

You are absolutely correct..besides that, the cases for those batteries are stainless steel...can't solder to stainless steel. Once upon a time several years ago, I needed something similar where soldering was not feasible. I located something similar to epoxy but was electrically conductive.. it worked for me..but was a temporary setup until I could obtain the correct device. Donno if this is an option for you or not..just thought I would mention it.

Thanks for the replies. I'm convinced I will be better off just buying the replacement part instead of trying to fix the old one up. I did find a place that sells button cells with tabs for soldering but they cost about as much as the part.

Thanks again.
