Digital TV Library Managment

I have a bit of a dilemma...I have aproximately 1100 TV shows archived on my computer. Currently the only orginization I have is folders, they are sorted by show then season. What I am looking for is a program that can help me to manage this library, preferably something that will allow me to add details about each show(synopsis, guest stars, quality, ect.). I have the ATI Radeon AIW 9800 Pro currently installed and I've tried using the built-in MMC software, but even after adding all my shows to the Media Library, they do not show up in the EZ View program. If MMC can do what I need, perhaps I just need training in the program, which ATI is no help; all I could see in the included manual only states how to install MMC.
