PowerDVD4 TVout Error

Hey all,

I've just finished formatting my brothers PC & installed win2k on it.

I'm just goin thru the process of installing the apps back on there. When i try to play a dvd with powerdvd4 (was previously using powerdvd3 before the format) i get a error pop up saying "TheTV Out port of your display card is not working properly.", when i click on details i get this "This copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled."

Now the thing is i havent enabled TV Out... The only thing connected to the video card is the monitor.

Heres the system specs:

1.13Ghz Athlon tbird
128mb pc133
64MB gf2 mx
SB Live Value
Pioneer 16x DVD
20gig hdd
etc....
Win2k with all updates
53.03 dets
latest 4in1's
dx9b

Anyone got any idea's what could be causing this problem?

Thanks in advance

JayMan

what os were you using befor the format my guess is that win 2k installed a generic driver so where the tv out was enabled but it is not working properly due to the driver try disableing it in device manager

Sorry dood i got no idea what your talking about, i've been using nvidia cards for a while now and have never seen a TV Out to disable in dev mgr.

I just tried using older video card drivers (44.03) incase that was the problem. But still same errors...

Maybe i'll give another set of drivers a shot...
