Raven Shield vs Counter-Strike?

Hello all,

I've been an avid Raven Shield fan for, well, since it's release. I've always loved the whole SWAT theme it provides.

However, I'd never, EVER played Counter-Strike. All my friends tell me it's MY loss for not playing it. But, is it REALLY that big of a game? I mean, I can't go anywhere without having to hear about it from some CS fan.

Plus, from what I understand, the game is plagued with hackers/cheaters on the net, it's like the #1 hacked online game according to many sources.

Plus, do I HAVE to buy the game to play it online? Do I need an original CD-key and whatnot? Cause, I'd like to TRY it, but I don't necessarily wanna fork over the $$$ to play it.

Should I bother trying this game if I'm already a Raven Shield fan? It seems to be the better of the 2, from my eyes, anyway.

CS is a fast chaos action game. Graphics (3D) are great, allows the game works fluently with satisfying requirements.

Plenty of weapons, that polices normally use. Staggering sound effects of the gun and special of the shoothing gun is so really life-like.

This multiplayer game works so simple but very playable. Played number of times with other shoot'em game, but didnt gets to my taste. It was sour

i would also want to suggest burrowed it from a friend of urs and install it in your machine. then you would have unlimited time of gameplay

I prefer RS over CS, RS is a slower paced game, more realistic and the graphics are better.

It's your choice, play it for a quick blast.

well CS is a HL mod, so buy HL (very cheap!!) and download the mod, second thing, i loved CS but i stopped after two months, then i changed to UT2K3 and then Jedi Knight Academy (<- Awsome game BTW) and now i just play SOF2 and JKA

i think SOF2 is also a good game to play because it is like CS (just the buy thing is different)
