Flash Player for Linux doesn't worl
For some strange reason, flash doesn't seem to work for Linux. Probably because I updated to Kernel 2.6, but I'm not so sure. Maybe you guys can help me out.
The rig:
Slackware 9.1, running Kernel 2.6 (compiled this morning) and Emerde
Latest version of Flash from Macromedia
Mozilla 1.5, Galeon, Gflashplayer
The Symptons:
Flash doesn't work in any of the browsers I have. For some strange reason, flash works fine on the macromedia page, but not for any other site. Gflashplayer also fails to load completely. Oh, and I get this error when I run the browsers in a command line:
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/lib/mozilla-1.4/plugins/libflashplayer.so [libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory]
And when I run gflashplayer:
gflashplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Looks and smells like some strange kind of typo. Hmmmm......
Or do I just need to upgrade glibc? And should I do that through emerde?
