What are the best drivers for the GeForce 4 TI series?

Since I've been gone, the 50 series drivers have come out in full force. I installed the latest version and have suffered a bit of choppiness. I was wondering if any of ya'll could tell me what the best version of Dets are. I'm assuming I'll have to go back to the 40s. Seems like a good idea anyway since the 50s are for the FX cards anyhow.

Spanks!

The latest forceware nvidia drivers work just fine for my msi geforce 4 ti 4600, I haven't had a problem with any of them so far.
5303 is the latest version, you having problems with that release.
The latest drivers are for the whole nvidia line of video cards and will usually improve in some areas even if it is the Ti series.

Forgot to add that, it's about the new Forceware drivers, rather than detonators.

They jacked up my performance pretty bad, actually. Maybe I ought to use the drivers that were available from (gasp) Microsoft...

You ARE desperate. I was using 44.03's until I got the 52.16's. I've not noticed any great improvement, but I'm not a big gamer. I can probably zip up either one and FTP 'em to ya if you want them.

Thanks for the info! I've located that version of the driver at Guru3d. I don't think I have it in me to stay here and test out all of the different drivers. I'm having a hard time staying on my PC as long as I have been.

I want to run free! Out in the wild with my fellow human!

EDIT

The 52.16 version are the ones Windows Update are dishing out. I'll take that as good enough for the next 2 weeks.

He has nice drivers for Radeons and Geforces, I think. I use his newest Radeon ones and they work fine. You may want to try his.
